Deze nieuwe beweegbare camera van Sony is een uiterterst robuuste PTZ-camera. Tevens is deze camera voorzien van intelligentie video-software. Hij kan stilstaande objecten detecteren en daarbij alarm slaan. Ook heeft deze camera een intelligente motion-detectie ingebouwd waarbij storende factoren zoals bewegende bomen zoveel mogelijk worden gefilterd.
Ook zeer speciaal is de geavanceerde digitale beeldstabilisatie welke ervoor zorgt dat bij sterk inzoomen de camera ook bij buitengebruik toch een zo stabiel mogelijk beeld geeft.
